I was born in 1980 in Rome, I graduated in 1999 as an aeronautical air traffic controller and achieved the Commercial Pilot Licence. My passion for flying led me to achieve the qualification for aerobatic flight and the the license of airline transport pilot. In 2003 due to force majeure I joined the family business taking care of management, research and marketing. In 2012 after travelling around the world to discover and document surfing spots I understood that photography could be a wonderful excuse to better understand the world around me. The engine behind my passion is fear and the desire to understand through the act of photography situations that will turn me away instead. To find the unexpected and the absurd in everyday life of the people who are living around me is at the basis of my research. In 2013 I attended a photojournalism master at ISFCI in Rome, in 2014 I exhibited my work EMF (electromagnetic field) at 001 Gallery in Rome, Honorable mention at Fotoleggendo 2014 for EMF. In 2015 I attended the WSP masterclass by receiving a scholarship.
I have been publishing and cooperating with various national and international magazines and won several awards.
In 2020 I received the National Geographic Grant for the personal project “Map to the Star”.
